Adom Support provides support services to people with disabilities, and one of the services we offer is accommodation support. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for participants to access appropriate accommodation that meets their needs.
Adom Support recognizes the importance of providing appropriate accommodation for people with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that participants have access to safe, secure, and affordable accommodation that meets their needs and preferences.
Adom Support is committed to providing high-quality accommodation support services to people with disabilities. Our NDIS Service Accommodation/Tenancy policy and procedures ensure that participants have access to safe, secure, and affordable accommodation that meets their needs and preferences.
Adom Support will work with the participant, their support network, and other relevant stakeholders to determine the participant’s accommodation needs. This includes their preferences for location, type of accommodation, and support requirements.
Accessing NDIS Funding:
Adom Support will work with the participant to access NDIS funding for their accommodation needs. This includes providing relevant documentation to support the funding request and working with the NDIS to ensure that the funding is approved.
Accessing NDIS Funding:
Adom Support will work with the participant to find suitable accommodation that meets their needs and preferences. This may include searching for available rental properties, working with housing providers, or exploring alternative accommodation options.
Tenancy Agreement:
Once suitable accommodation has been found, Adom Support will work with the participant to negotiate and sign a tenancy agreement. This agreement will outline the rights and responsibilities of both the participant and the landlord, and will ensure that the accommodation is secure and affordable.
Support Coordination:
Adom Support will provide ongoing support coordination to the participant to ensure that their accommodation needs are met. This includes working with the participant to manage their tenancy obligations, providing support with rent and utility payments, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise during their tenancy.
Adom Support will regularly review the participant’s accommodation needs and their tenancy agreement to ensure that they continue to meet the participant’s needs and preferences. Any necessary changes to the accommodation or support arrangements will be made in consultation with the participant and their support network.
